It’s nice to take a step back while riding the ferry, feeling chills run down your body as the wind slaps you. It’s as if the world took effort to slow down time while observing, listening, and watching the city of Seattle grow with every passing second. View Larger

ATTENTION SEATTLE
Did you know there are about 10,000 foster children living in King County everyday? Some of these children are not granted opportunities like extracurricular activities or cannot purchase items like new clothing, and fresh school supplies due to lack of funding provided by Washington state. Treehouse for Kids is a wonderful organization who aided foster children in need since 1988 by providing FREE programs such as tutoring, college and career planning, and even a warehouse where children can shop for clothing for zero cost. Though with these opportunities, Treehouse cannot do this without the help of the community. How can you help? 5:00 on Saturday, March 3rd at Franklin High School Reign will be presenting the event Do it For Love: Renew Hope, an all ages music, dance, and arts show that will give foster children awareness to our local community and help raise money for the Treehouse foundation to encourage them to keep up with their excellent work. Performers Will Ting, Kierra Folsom, Mike Kim, Audacity Cru, Danny Phame, Kim Validio, Alana Raye, Kontagious Performing Company, Jessica Hu, and the Reign Music Team have all supported our cause and are delighted to put on this thrilling show for FREE. All we ask from you in return are new or slightly used clothing (especially for teenagers) or a suggested $10 donation. Don’t hesitate to ask me any questions, see the Facebook event page here, or learn more about Treehouse here.
