My nose turned red as I revealed my weakness.
My heart started drumming as I tried to close my eyes.
My head turned away from the shame that I would receive.
My eyes wouldn’t open as I whispered to it goodbye.
The moon, shrouded in lies
Tells its dark secret to me.
“Your heart will shine brightly and the sun will appear once you overcome others.”
With this in mind, I left them all behind.
Yet why is it so lonely?
Why do I feel disgusted?
I realized that included myself.
